Project Management Office (PMO) Canals
Project Management Office (PMO) Canals was established on October 01, 2017, by the orders of competent authorities. The unit has been transformed from Project Management Unit Lower Bari Doab Canal Improvement Project (LBDCIP) to PMO Canals.
Responsibilities:
PMO-Canals is responsible for the following projects:
- Lower Bari Doab Canal Improvement Project (LBDCIP) – (Ongoing)
- Punjab Irrigated Agriculture Investment Program (PIAIP) – (Ongoing)
- Project Design Advance (PDA) for detailed engineering design of Jalalpur Irrigation Project (JIP)-(Ongoing)
- Jalalpur Irrigation Project
- ADBs TA for feasibility Study of JIP (Completed)
- Greater Thal Canal (GTC) Project
- Any other foreign-funded project relating to the rehabilitation/construction of new Irrigation Projects.
